In response to this emerging need, the University of Larkano is proud to announce the launch of a new undergraduate program, Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (BS-AI). This program is offered under the umbrella of the Department of Computer Science. This program will combine theoretical foundations, practical application, and research opportunities to equip graduates with the competencies necessary for successful careers in AI and related fields. The proposed BS (AI) degree program will explore the theory and practice of scientific tools that simulate thinking, patterning, and advanced decision behaviors by software systems. The AI program will teach students to build intelligence software systems that solve complex problems. Students will work with cutting-edge technologies including voice recognition, pattern recognition, simulation agents, expert systems, biometric systems, machine learning (ML), internet of things (IoT), and others. The BS(AI) program will give students an in-depth knowledge needed to transform large and complex scenarios into actionable decisions. The students will have expertise in machine learning and automated reasoning needed to build the AI of tomorrow. The degree program and its curriculum will focus utilizing complex inputs such as knowledge, vision, language, and vast databases to facilitate decision-making that enhances human capabilities. The curriculum will comprehensively cover the fundamentals of both general and applied artificial intelligence, including the core programming languages and platforms that are integral to modern computing degree programs.
