THE UNIVERSITY OF LARKANO

Education_overview2

The University of Larkano proudly announces the establishment of the Department of Education (DoE) under the academic leadership of the Department of English Language & Literature (DELL). This strategic initiative reflects the university's commitment to advancing quality teacher education in the region and addressing the growing need for professional educators equipped to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing educational landscape.

The DoE is set to launch its flagship program, a 4-Year B.Ed. (Hons.) in Education, designed in accordance with the latest guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. This comprehensive degree program blends theory with practical training, emphasizing modern pedagogical techniques, curriculum development, educational leadership, classroom management, and inclusive education.

With a strong focus on critical thinking, innovation, and reflective practice, the department aims to nurture passionate and well-rounded educators who can make meaningful contributions to schools, educational institutions, and policy-making bodies. The DoE will benefit from the academic support of DELL’s experienced faculty and a collaborative learning environment that promotes research, creativity, and community engagement.

In the coming years, the department also plans to expand its academic offerings to include postgraduate programs, teacher training workshops, and educational research projects, fostering a culture of continuous professional development and academic excellence.
